Omnetics Chronic Headstages

The RA16CH is a 16-channel headstage featuring a female Omnetics nano connector. Record from subjects as small as rodents and mice. The LP16CH low profile headstage provides the same performance with an even smaller footprint, yielding better clearance in tight applications. TDT chronic headstages are compatible with TDT microwire arrays, NeuroNexus chronic electrodes and most Omnetics based 16 channel electrodes.

RA16CH – Ideal for 16 Channel Studies in Subjects > 100 Grams

The headstage weighs 1.2 grams and connects to the preamplifier over a custom cable designed to maximize freedom of movement. The headstage can be used to record from subjects as small as mice.

LP16CH – Designed for Chronic in Mice & Juvenile Rats

With even smaller and lower mass, the LP16CH weighs only 1 gram. It’s an industry favorite, ideal for recordings with limited surgical area and for awake behaving and recordings in small animals.

FOR CONCURRENT FMRI AND ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY

NON-FERROUS HEADSTAGE

The LP16CH-ZNF uses non-ferrous materials, including a nonferrous Omnetics connector with the same size and pinout as the LP16CH headstages. It can be used when recording single-unit electrophysiology during fMRI imaging.
