iD2 – Digital Headstage Interface

The ID2 module is a 256-channel recording system designed for the iCon platform.  Combine with other iCon modules to make a system perfectly tuned for high channel count electrophysiology in freely moving rodents.

The ID2 integrates the INTAN™ acquisition component into an iCon module for low-cost system for digital headstages.  Capture Single-Units and Local Field Potentials and stream to disk at 25kHz. Process any 16-channels for realtime spike sort or closed loop control, such as triggering optogenetic pulses based on theta or gamma oscillations.

The ID2 works seamlessly with TDT digital head stages. Connect to our digital ZIF or standard Omnetics based INTAN™ headstages and use the  TDT’s commutators to minimize tangling and damage to the headstage cable. Add on the iCon video module (IV2)  for realtime video tracking.

This low-cost system is an easy foray into the world of multichannel electrophysiology.  Contact us today and tell us about your research. We’ll show you how the iD2 fits into your research today – and into the future.

Synapse Software

Easily configure your amplifier and start recording with a few clicks in our Synapse software.

Synapse provides users with complete control of their real-time recording signals. You can process the data downstream with filters, spike sorting, thresholding, and closed-loop feedback. Synapse’s “all-in-one-place” approach lets you combine simple recording processes with more complicated parallel processing of other signals and hardware to make the exact experiment you need for your research.

When you choose TDT for your neuroscience research,
you’re choosing:

LEGACY
TDT was one of the first commercial adopters of the INTAN™ headstage for
multichannel electrophysiology.

INNOVATION
TDT’s in-house design team built a low-cost INTAN™ acquisition module that is less expensive than any existing INTAN™ system.  Our production facility builds the smallest profile 32-channel Omnetics headstage and zero insertion force headstage,  the only of its kind.

COMMITMENT
TDT’s sales and technical support team are committed to your research needs. We will provide you with the best system at a competitive price and support it for as long as you require.
